Frequently Asked Questions

My Pro purchase isn’t showing up

Open “Gacha Chord Pro” in the app and tap Restore purchase. This carries your purchase over after switching devices or reinstalling.

You must be signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you purchased with.

Will I be charged twice?

No. Pro is a one-time purchase, so an Apple Account that already owns it will not be charged again. If you tap Purchase by mistake, the App Store will tell you it is already purchased.

Where are my saved progressions stored?

On your device. Nothing is sent to the developer’s servers.

Deleting the app also deletes your saved data. With Pro, you can back up to your own iCloud from Settings (gear icon) → Data → iCloud Backup, with or without your recordings. After switching devices or reinstalling, restore it from the same screen.

How do I remove the ads?

The free version shows an ad at the bottom of the screen. Purchasing Gacha Chord Pro removes all ads.

In the EU, the UK and similar regions, you can change your ad consent from Ad Privacy Settings in Settings.

There’s no sound

The app is configured to play even when the silent switch is on.

Where can I use the exported MIDI?

Any app that reads Standard MIDI Files (SMF) — GarageBand, Logic Pro, Cubase, and others. A share sheet appears on export so you can choose the destination.

Tempo and key signature are included in the file.

About the Roman numeral notation

Every chord is shown both as a scale degree (Roman numeral) and as a chord name. Uppercase is major, lowercase is minor, ° is diminished, and ø is half-diminished.

sus2 and sus4 have no third, so they are neither major nor minor and are written in uppercase.

How do I change a chord’s quality or invert it?

Long-press a chord in the progression. Quality changes, substitute chords, inversions, octave and semitone shifts, and delete are all there.

How do I see the tutorial again?

Settings (gear icon) → Help → Show the tutorial again.
